How We Started
In the years before the association came together, Kolkata's real estate industry was growing quickly but remained fragmented — individual developers negotiated separately with authorities, standards varied widely, and there was no shared platform to raise industry-wide concerns.
A core group of developers began meeting informally to change that, and RECA Kolkata grew out of those early conversations — built on the idea that a united, credible association serves members and homebuyers better than a fragmented industry ever could.
